World Para Athletics Championships 2025, September 27: Indian results and medals on Day 1
India began its World Para Athletics Championships campaign at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Saturday with three medals.
Shailesh Kumar won the gold medal in Men’s High Jump T63. He also set a new Championship Record in the T42 category. In the same event, Varun Bhati bagged a bronze.
In the last event of the day, Deepthi Jeevanji finished with a silver medal in the Women’s 400m T20.
