100m National Record broken twice within minutes: Animesh Kujur regains men’s NR moments after Gurindervir Singh breaks it
Animesh Kujur promptly regained the National Record in the men’s 100m event at the ongoing Federation Cup in Ranchi moments away Gurindervir Singh had broken it.
In one of the semifinals, Gurindervir, on Friday, had initially set a new National Record by clocking 10.17s, improving on Animesh 10.18s.
However, Animesh, minutes later, by clocking 10.15 seconds. He also met the qualification standard for the Commonwealth Games with this effort.
