World Para Athletics Championships 2025, October 3: Indian results and medals on Day 7

India jumped to fourth in the medal standings after its most productive day so far at the World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi.

On Friday, Nishad Kumar won men’s high jump T47 gold with a new Asian Record of 2.14m while Simran clinched the crown in women’s 100m T12 event with a Personal Best of 11.95s.

Preeti Pal (women’s 200m T35) and Pardeep Kumar (men’s discus throw F64) also grabbed bronze medals.

A total of 16 Indians were in action on the seventh day at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

India has won 15 medals – six gold, five silver, and four bronze – at the ongoing edition of the World Championships.
