World Para Athletics Championships 2025: China’s Xiaoyan Wen wins first gold medal

China’s Xiaoyan Wen wins the first gold medal at World Para Athletics Championships 2025 in women’s long jump T37 final on Thursday.

She was joined by Angeline Anais of Mauritius and Jaleen Roberts of USA, respectively.

The Chinese athlete clinched the gold with 5.32m jump on her fifth attempt and created new championship record.

Earlier she reached the 5m mark in her first attempt, which couldn’t be breached throughout the competition.
