World Athletics Championships 2025, Day 4: Indians in action, schedule, live streaming info
High jumper Sarvesh Kushare will be the sole Indian participant in action on the fourth day at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
The 30-year-old Kushare, Asian Championships silver medallist, cleared the bar set at the height of 2.25m during the qualification round on Sunday and secured his spot amongst the 13 finalists.
He is the first-ever Indian man to qualify for the high jump final at the World Championships.
Kushare has a personal best of 2.27m while his season’s best is 2.26m.
