Which F1 drivers’ championships went to a three-way final race decider?
The 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will feature a rare three-way battle for the Formula One drivers’ championship, with Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri all still in contention. While several titles have been decided in the final round over the years, it is uncommon for three or more drivers to remain firmly in the mix heading into the finale.
The most recent instance came in 2010, when Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton arrived in Abu Dhabi with a shot at the title, the only four-way decider in F1 history.
