Viktor Axelsen to miss upcoming BWF World Championships due to injury

Two-time Olympic gold medallist Viktor Axelsen has announced that he will miss the upcoming edition of the BWF World Championships in Paris as he recovers from injury.

Axelsen announced in a statement on social media that he had arrived at the decision in consultation with his medical team in order to allow himself to focus on rehabilitation from a back injury.
