Pro Kabaddi League 2024: Patna Pirates qualifies for PKL 11 playoffs along with UP Yoddhas
Patna Pirates qualified for the PKL 11 playoffs, edging past Telugu Titans 41-37 at the Badminton Hall in Balewadi on Wednesday.
Devank Dalal was unstoppable, scoring 14 points, the highest in the match.
This performance ensured the former champions secured second place in the points table with 73 points, just six behind Haryana Steelers.
With this victory, Patna Pirates was joined by UP Yoddhas, who was in fourth place with 69 points, filling the fourth spot in the playoffs. Dabang Delhi dropped to third place with 71 points.
After securing a playoff spot, Pirates coach Narender Kumar Redhu said, “From the start, we were focused on qualifying for the playoffs. We have been planning for one leg at a time, with our aim being to perform well in each match. In this game, when we changed in the covers with Gurdeep, Ankit, and Deepak, it helped the team achieve super tackles, allowing us to gain the lead.”
