PKL 12 Auction: Jang Kun Lee returns to Bengal Warriorz; UP Yoddhas buys Dong Geon Lee


Korean veteran Jang Kun Lee returned to Bengal Warriorz after two seasons, after her was signed for INR 13 lakh by the franchise at the Pro Kabaddi League (12) auction in Mumbai on Sunday.

Jang joined Bengal Warriorz in in 2018, eventually becoming the first oversees player in PKL to score 400 raid points. He has played seven seasons, scoring 471 raid points and 25 tackle points including 9 super-10.

Jang was the most valuable foreign player in 2017 Pro Kabaddi League after he was retained by the Warriorz for 80.3 Lakhs.

In season 7, he was bought by to Patna Pirates for 40 Lakhs, where he remained until last year.

Meanwhile, his compatriot UP Yoddhas bought his compatriot Dong Geon Lee for INR 13.5 lakh. Dong returns to the league after three years, with his last stint being with Gujarat Giants in 2022.
