The USA leapt past China to the top of the Paris Olympics 2024 medal table after Noah Lyles won the men’s 100m sprint on Monday.
Both USA and China have 19 golds each. But the former has more silver and bronze medals than the latter.
Host France is third in the standings with 12 golds.

India failed to add to its medal count of three bronze medal and is now sitting 57th in the table.
