China is currently placed first on the Paris 2024 Olympics medal tally with 16 medals, including 8 gold, 6 silver, and 2 bronze.
Australia and Japan are in second and third place, respectively.

India clinched its second medal of the Paris Olympics as Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won bronze in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event on Tuesday and is currently placed 35th in the standings.
The 33rd edition of the Summer Olympics began on Friday and concludes on August 11.
The Paris Olympics feature 32 sports, including the 28 “core” disciplines, that include breaking, skateboarding, surfing and sports climbing.
