National Shotgun Championship: Shardul Vihan, Sabeera Haris shine with double gold in mixed trap
Shardul Vihan continued to be in good touch as he won the mixed trap gold with Sabeera Haris in the 67th National Shotgun Championship at the Dr. Karni Singh Range, Tughlakabad, on Friday.
After a spectacular performance in the individual event on Thursday, when he won the men’s trap gold and the junior silver, Shardul continued to hit the targets with conviction in coasting to the top of the podium in the mixed trap event.
Sabeera had also given a good account of herself in the individual event and thus was able to support Shardul in clinching the two gold medals for Uttar Pradesh, which beat three teams to the gold by two points, in the non-Olympic event that does not feature a final.
