Mya Lynn Lesnar, daughter of WWE icon and former UFC fighter Brock Lesnar, made college sports history by dominated her opponents with an impressive opening throw to claim the women’s shot put title at the NCAA outdoor track and field championships 2025.

The 23-year-old Colorado State athlete secured victory with her first throw of 19.01 metres at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, with her father, Brock, watching.

Her high throw of 62 feet, 4 1/2 inches was part of her incredible effort that helped seal the win.

Mya’s title also marked Colorado State’s first outdoor national championship since 2005, when Loree Smith won the hammer throw.

With the win, she joins her father in securing a national crown, with Brock, a heavyweight wrestler at Minnesota winning an NCAA title back in 2000.

Earlier, Mya won the indoor championship in 2024.
