Malaysia Masters 2024: Sindhu defeats Busanan, through to finals

India’s ace shuttler PV Sindhu defeated Thailand’s Busanan Ongbamrungphan 13-21, 21-16, 21-12 to reach the Malaysia Masters finals on Saturday.

Sindhu came from a disappointing first game where she lost 13-21 to come back in the last two games 21-16, 21-12.

Prior to this match, the Indian led against the Thai shuttler with a staggering 17-1 win-loss record.

After 88 minutes, Sindhu reached her first final of the year ahead of the much anticipated Paris Olympics.
