Jaipur Pink Panthers raider Manjeet Dahiya ruled out of PKL 2025

Raider Manjeet Dahiya has been ruled out of the 2025 edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), two-time champion Jaipur Pink Panthers announced on Sunday.

“Regretfully, Manjeet Dahiya will not be able to be a part of the Jaipur Pink Panthers for this season. We wish Manjeet a speedy recovery and wish him all the best for the future,” the franchise said in a statement, two days before its campaign opener against Patna Pirates.

Manjeet had joined the Panthers at this year’s auction after the inaugural winner had acquired the player’s services for Rs. 40 lakhs.

Last season, Manjeet was with U Mumba and racked up 107 points in the campaign which saw the franchise finish fifth after the regular league stage.

With Manjeet getting ruled out of the 12th edition, Jaipur Pink Panthers’ raiding unit is dealt a huge blow.

There lacks an established name in offense to carry the team the way Arjun Deshwal — who joined Tamil Thalaivas this season — did all these years. The side will hope that doesn’t cost it dearly as it bids for its third PKL crown.
