ISSF World Cup, Ningbo: India endures tough day in mixed team events


Surbhi Rao and Amit Sharma shot a combined score of 574 and missed the medal round by six points in mixed air pistol event at the World Cup in Ningbo, China, on Tuesday.

While the first team placed 11th, the other Indian team of Rhythm Sangwan and Nishant Rawat finished 13th with a total of 571. China beat Czechia 17-5 for the gold, while Hungary rose to the bronze position.

In mixed air rifle, Ramita Jindal and Umamahesh Maddineni shot a total of 628.6 and placed 14th among 35 teams. Norway beat China 17-9 for the gold, while Italy clinched the bronze.
