Hong Kong Open 2025: Satwik-Chirag reach semifinals, Sen to face Shetty in men’s singles quarters
Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty entered the semifinals of the Hong Kong Open 2025 on Friday after beating Malaysia’s Junaidi Arif and Roy King Yap.
The Indians took the opening game 21-14 before narrowly conceding the second 20-22. They bounced back in the decider, sealing it 21-16 to book their semifinal berth.
The duo will next face Chen Cheng Kuan and Lin Bing-Wei of Chinese Taipei.
Lakshya Sen will face Ayush Shetty in a men’s singles quarterfinal clash later in the day.
