FIH Pro League 2024-25: Relegated India ends season with 2-3 loss to China


Indian women’s hockey team lost 2-3 to China on Sunday in Berlin, concluding a disappointing FIH Pro League 2024-25 campaign which ended with the Salima Tete-led side being relegated from the competition.

India finished last amongst nine teams with 10 points in 16 games. It lost a total of 11 games while drawing three and winning just two.

The team, coached by Harendra Singh, will have to win the next edition of the FIH Nations Cup in order to return to the Pro League for the 2026-27 edition.
