Entry list for Diamond League final out – Neeraj Chopra, Noah Lyles, Mondo Duplantis to headline competition


The entry lists for the Diamond League Final in Zurich been published by the organisers on Monday, promising two days of rivalries, record chases and riveting races at Weltklasse Zürich.

India’s double Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra are among the superstars on the entry lists at the Diamond League Final at Weltklasse Zurich on August 27.

The first day of the Final will see five field disciplines held at a street event on Zurich’s Sechseläutenplatz, directly in front of the city’s iconic opera house.

Pole vault world record holder Mondo Duplantis will be aiming to win a fifth successive Diamond League title, while Olympic champion and silver medallist Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Nicola Olyslagers resume their rivalry in the women’s high jump.

Olympic 100m and 200m champions Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo face off in the men’s 200m, with Tebogo hunting a first ever Diamond League title and Lyles looking to win the trophy for a record-breaking sixth time.

When will Neeraj Chopra’s event start?

Men’s javelin throw will be held on second day of the Diamond league Final in Zurich, which is August 28. Neeraj Chopra’s will start at 19:45 local time, which is Thursday 11:15 pm (IST).
