The Pro Kabaddi League, now in its 12th season, will return to the four-city caravan model with a brand new structure and several rule changes. PKL 12 begins on August 29 at the Vishwanadh Sports Club in Visakhapatnam.
In PKL 12, Dabang Delhi will be led by prolific raider Ashu Malik. His numbers and efficacy in the absence of an injured Naveen Kumar underlined his value and prompted an elevation in position and responsibility. Delhi did not hesitate in using their Final Bid Match option to retain him, spending a whopping 1.9 crore rupees.

SQUAD ANALYSIS
A Naveen Express-less raiding unit marks a new dawn in Dabang Delhi’s kabaddi fabric. Dabang Delhi K.C. were the busiest at the PKL Season 12 Player Auction as they added 16 players in the two-day event. Having spent INR 4.899 crore,
Strength: Solid in both departments. Delhi retained Ashu Malik and added Neeraj Narwal for INR 32.60 lakh and acquired the services of experienced raider Ajinkya Ashok Pawar for INR 13 lakh at the auction. In defence, Delhi has the experience of Surjeet Singh in the right cover and Fazel Atrachali in the left corner. Iranian Amirhossein Bastami strengthens the right defence. Delhi also has the seasoned Saurabh Nandal in its ranks.
Weakness: Plenty of specialists. Where are the allrounders? Dabang Delhi does not have any accomplished allrounders in the squad.
Dabang Delhi will begin its campaign against Bengaluru Bulls on September 2, 2025 in Vizag.
