Asian Championship: Manu loses 25m pistol gold medal to Vietnam’s Thuy Trang in shoot-off, Esha bags bronze
Double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker lost out on the 25m sports pistol gold medal by a whisker as Vietnam’s Nguyen Thuy Trang snatched the top spot with an additional hit in the shoot-off at the ongoing Asian Championship in New Delhi.
Bhaker and Thuy Trang both finished their finals with 35 hits, due to which a tie-breaker had to be played at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range.
Esha Singh bagged the bronze medal with a score of 30. Rhythm Sangwan, the other Indian in the eight-woman final, finished fourth with 27 points.
