Asian Athletics Championships 2025, Medals Tally: Gulveer’s gold puts India in second place after day one
India took the second spot in the medals tally at the end of the first day of the Asian Athletics Championships in Gumi, Korea.
Gulveer Singh won the gold medal in the men’s 10,000m and Servin Sebastian clinched the bronze in men’s 20km race walk on Tuesday.
China leads the standings with a total of seven medals, including five golds.
Japan is placed third with three silver and two bronze medals.
A total of 39 countries are participating in the continental event which will conclude on May 31.
