Newcastle United fights back to beat West Ham in Premier League thriller


Newcastle United crawled back from a 3-1 deficit to post a thrilling 4-3 win against West Ham United in a Premier League clash at St. James Park on Saturday.

Alexander Isak opened the scoring for the Magpies after converting an early penalty in the sixth minute but Michail Antonio and Mohammed Kudus scored for the Hammers as they broke for half-time with a 2-1 lead.

Jarred Bowen struck early in the second half to create a two-goal advantage for West Ham.

Isak scored from the spot again in the 77th minute to reduce the deficit before Harvey Barnes scored a seven-minute brace (83rd and 90th minute) to give a 4-3 lead to the Magpies.

Newcastle finished the match with 10-men after Anthony Gordon saw a red card in the fourth minute of second-half additional time.
