Satwik-Chirag into Thailand Open round of 16, beats Indonesia’s Erwiansyah-Maulana
Indian shuttlers Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty fought past Indonesia’s Muh Putra Erwiansyah and Bagas Maulana in their men’s doubles first-round match at Thailand Open 2026.

The Indian pair secured a spot in the next round with a 21-19, 21-23, 21-10 win in a match that lasted one hour and four minutes.
They will take on Malaysia’s Bryan Jeremy Goonting and Muhammad Haikal in the round of 16.
