R Praggnanandhaa will take on Andrey Esipenko in the sixth round of the Open section of the FIDE Candidates 2026 in Cyprus on Friday.
In the women’s section, two Indian Grandmasters will be in action, with Divya Deshmukh facing Bibisara Assaubayeva and R Vaishali taking on Kateryna Lagno.
