UTT 2026: Jaipur Patriots no longer a part of Ultimate Table Tennis league

Jaipur Patriots will no longer be a part of Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) due to repeated non-compliance with the terms of the executed franchise agreement and persistent payment defaults, the league announced on Wednesday.

The franchise, owned by World Of Krida, had joined UTT in 2024. Last season, the team, featuring India’s top female paddler Sreeja Akula, reached the final in Ahmedabad where it lost to U Mumba.

In an official statement, 11Sports Pvt. Ltd., the owner and rights holder of UTT, said, that it has “formally terminated its franchise agreement with World Of Krida, the entity operating the Jaipur Patriots franchise, with immediate effect. The action follows repeated non-compliance with the terms of the executed franchise agreement and persistent payment defaults owed to 11Sports under the contract.”

“Over the past several months, 11Sports engaged in constructive dialogue with the franchise owners and extended multiple opportunities and timelines to enable compliance with the agreed contractual and financial obligations. However, despite these sincere and continued efforts, World Of Krida failed to remedy the breaches and honour its commitments under the agreement.

“In view of these repeated breaches and the absence of remedial action, 11Sports was left with no alternative but to exercise its rights under the franchise agreement and proceed with termination, in order to protect the league’s governance standards, financial discipline, and long-term stability.

“Consequently, Jaipur Patriots will no longer participate in the Ultimate Table Tennis league with immediate effect.”

The league currently has seven teams – reigning champion U Mumba, Ahmedabad SG Pipers, Dabang Delhi T.T.C., Dempo Goa Challengers, Kolkata Thunder Blades, PBG Pune Jaguars and Stanley’s Chennai Lions.

The process of onboarding a franchise to replace the Patriots has been initiated, and the new team will join the league from Season 7 onwards, which will be held in Goa in July this year.
