Sportstar ACES Awards 2026: Vote For Your Best Club/State Team of the Year Now!
The year 2025 marked a historic year for several teams across disciplines in sports.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally clinched its maiden Indian Premier League title, ending years of heartbreak and transforming the team’s legacy from perennial underachiever to champion.
Meanwhile, Vidarbha reaffirmed its standing as a domestic powerhouse with a commanding run to the Ranji Trophy 2024–25 title, its third overall and first since the 2018–19 season.
In the Women’s Premier League, the Mumbai Indians continued its domination by winning their second title in three years.
On the football field, Mohun Bagan Super Giant reinforced its reputation by doing the double—winning the Indian Super League (ISL) Shield and ISL Cup.
It became only the second club to complete the domestic double after Mumbai City FC.

Dabang Delhi K.C. produced an excellent showing to secure its second Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) title in the 12th season of the tournament. Under the stewardship of former title-winning captain Joginder Narwal, Delhi became only the third team in PKL history to win multiple titles.
All of the above have been nominated for the coveted Best Club/State Team of the Year honour at the eighth edition of the Sportstar ACES Awards, presented by Amul and co-presented by Casagrand.

There eighth edition of the Sportstar ACES Awards will have 25 categories this year.
The voting lines are now open for the five Popular Choice Awards: Sportstar of the Year—Male and Female, National Team of the Year, Club/State Team of the Year, and Sporting Moment of the Year.

Additionally, there are 19 Jury Awards, the winners of which will be chosen by an elite panel headed by legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar. Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra, former India hockey captain M. M. Somaya, chess great Viswanathan Anand, and Olympians Anjali Bhagwat and Aparna Popat complete the jury.
There will also be a separate Chairperson’s Award for Sports for Social Good, which will honour individuals or organisations that have used the power of sports to make our world a better place.
