BWF World Tour Finals: Satwik-Chirag win opening match against China’s Wang-Liang
Indian men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty started its BWF World Tour Finals campaign with a victory over China’s Chang Wang and Wei Keng Liang.
The World No. 3 pair lost the first game but fought back in the next two to seal a 12-21, 22-20, 21-14 win in 60 minutes on Wednesday.
The Indian team will take on Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri of Indonesia on Thursday. Satwik-Chirag have faced this pair only once and lost.
