FanCode signs multi-year contract extension for F1 broadcast rights in India
Formula 1 and FanCode, on Tuesday, announced an extension of their partnership that will see the streaming platform in India continue to exclusively broadcast the sport until 2028.
The partnership between the two entities dates back to 2024 and covers every Formula 1 practice and qualifying session, F1 Sprint event and Grand Prix. FanCode’s acquisition of broadcast rights also offers viewers an affordable alternative to following the F1 circuit through the year.
F1 has an estimated fanbase of 79 million, making it one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation. FanCode, over the past few years, has expanded on that popularity to conduct fan screenings across India.

FanCode will also hold broadcast rights in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. The 2026 season has plenty in store for motorsport enthusiasts from the subcontinent with the addition of two new teams and new sporting regulations taking effect. In Arvid Lindblad, a driver with Indian heritage, there’s another of connect for fans who can follow his rookie season with Racing Bulls.
