Formula 1 to return to Portugal in 2027 and 2028

Formula One will return to Portugal in the 2027 and 2028 seasons, with the race held at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão.

The circuit, more commonly known as Portimão, last hosted F1 events in 2020 and 2021, and was a key venue in the sport’s return to racing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
