Diksha, Pranavi lead four Indians in Aramco China golf
Indian golfers Diksha Dagar, Pranavi Urs, Avani Prashanth and Tvesa Malik will hope for positive results at the penultimate event of the Ladies European Tour that gets underway with the Aramco China Championship this week.
Back after a week off, Diksha returns to action skipping the Wistron Ladies Open, where Pranavi, Avani and Tvesa also played.
The event was reduced to 36 holes because of heavy rains.
Pranavi and Avani had earlier finished in Top-5 at the Hero Women’s Indian Open but struggled at the Wistron Ladies Open. And come this weekend, both the golfers would be keen to bounce back from the difficult week.
Tvesa heads into this week having made the cut only once in her last 10 events, the exception being her home event.

Vani drops two late bogeys in 14th leg of Hero WPGT
Vani Kapoor appeared to be on a birdie spree before two late bogeys pegged her back, as she carded a two-under 68 to share the lead with Shagun Narain and Jahanvi Bakshi in the 14th leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour here on Wednesday.
Vani was four-under through the front nine at the Ram Bagh Golf Club, but the four-time winner in the 2025 season ran out of birdies on the back nine and dropped shots on the 15th and 17th holes at the par-70 course.
She finished the day tied at the top with Shagun, who is chasing her maiden title, and a resurgent Jahanvi, making her way back after a long injury lay-off.
Four players, including amateur Riya Jadon, shot 1-under 69 each to be tied fourth. The other three were Jasmine Shekar, Nayanika Sanga and Shweta Mansingh.
Multiple winner Sneha Singh was tied for the eighth place alongside Vidhatri Urs and Kriti Chowhan and the trio carded even par 70 each.
Things did not go too well for some of the other experienced stars like Ridhima Dilawari, Neha Tripathi and Amandeep Drall.
Ridhima and Neha shot one-over 71 and were Tied-11th alongside Astha Madan. Amandeep Drall and Khushi Khanijau, who have also been playing alongside the men in the IGPL Tour, were Tied-14th with rounds of 2-over 74 each.

Pukhraj blazes to top with bogey-free 63 at IGPL Jamshedpur
Pukhraj Singh Gill stormed into the lead with a flawless nine-under 63 on the opening day of the IGPL Invitational Jamshedpur hosted by Shri Arjun Munda at the Beldih Golf Course.
Pukhraj, who has come close to a win on more than one occasion, opened up a commanding four-shot lead over Harendra Gupta, Sudhir Sharma and Sachin Baisoya — all carding 67s to share second place.
Yashas Chandra recovered from an early bogey to post a four-under 68 for sole fifth.
Pukhraj’s 63 was the fourth nine-under round of the season, though the previous three — all by Aman Raj — came on par-70 courses in Jaipur and Kolkata.
Order of Merit leader Raj, winner of the last two events, shot a three-under 69 to be tied sixth alongside former Asian Tour winners Chinnaswamy Muniyappa and Chiragh Kumar, and Ashbeer Saini, IL Aalaap and Trishul Chinappa.
