Smriti Mandhana’s 5000 runs — All records, milestones during IND vs AUS Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 match
India is playing Australia in the Women’s ODI World Cup on Sunday at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The Women in Blue, riding on half-centuries from Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal, posted a formidable total of 330 for the Aussies to chase.

- 5000 runs — Smriti Mandhana became the second Indian to reach 5000 runs in ODIs. She also became the youngest (29-year-old) and quickest (112 innings and 5569 balls) player to get to the mark.
- 1000+ — Smriti also crossed 1000 runs in a calendar year, becoming the first player to do so in ODIs.
- 155 — Smriti and Pratika notched up the highest opening partnership by any team against Australia in ODIs after adding 155 runs for the first wicket.
- 4th — Smriti and Pratika also became the fourth Indian pair to record a 100-run opening stand in the World Cup.
- 4- With this partnership, Smriti-Pratika now has the joint second-most 100-run opening partnerships in a calendar year (5 – Belinda Clark & Lisa Keightley for AUS-W, 2000 and 4 – Suzie Bates & Rachel Priest for NZ-W, 2015).
- 330 — This is India’s highest-ever total in the World Cup, bettering the 317-run total it scored against West Indies in 2022.
- 300+ — This was the first time that Australia conceded more than 300 runs in a World Cup match.
