World Para Athletics Championships 2025, October 2: Indian results and medals on Day 6


Dharambir Nain and Atul Kaushik added two more medals to India’s tally at the World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi on Thursday.

Paralympic champion Dharambir grabbed a silver in men’s club throw F51 with a best effort of 29.71m.

Atul clinched a bronze in the men’s discus throw F57 event with 45.61m.

Haney (men’s discus throw F37) and Dilip Mahadu Gavit (men’s 400m T47) both missed out on winning medals as both finished fourth.

A total of 12 Indians were in action on the sixth day at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

India has won 11 medals – four gold, five silver and two bronze – at the ongoing edition of the World Championships.
