The Pro Kabaddi League, heading into its twelvth season, will return to the four-city caravan format with a band new format and host of rule changes. The PKL 12 will get underway at the Vishwanadh Sports Club in Vizag on August 29.
In PKL 12, Puneri Paltan are captained by Indian national team raider Aslam Inamdar, while they are coached by former India player Ajay Thakur.

SQUAD ANALYSIS
For the upcoming season, Puneri Paltan is sticking with a winning formula. Despite not making the playoffs last season, the PKL Season 10 champions are retaining most of their core squad.
Strength: Experience and dynamism of Indian core. Strong defensive formation.
Weakness: Left-corner was the problem last season in defence and the team has to find a way to mend it. How the new coach will adapt to the already installed distinct playing style will be a big question.
Puneri paltan will begin their Pro Kabaddi League 12 campaign against Bengaluru Bulls in Vizag on August 29.
The schedule for the playoffs will be announced at a later date.
