Supreme Court cancels bail of murder-accused Olympian Sushil Kumar, orders him to surrender within a week
The Supreme Court of India has cancelled the bail to double Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar, ordering him to surrender within a week.
Sushil is the prime accused in the murder of junior national wrestling champion Sagar Dhankar.
A bench comprising Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra and Justice Sanjay Karol passed the order in an appeal filed by Ashok Dhankad, Sagar’s father, challenging the Delhi High Court’s order, granting bail to Sushil Kumar in March this year.
