PKL Auction 2025: List of players who were retained by franchises using Final Bid Match option


A highlight of the Player Auction ahead of season 12 of the Pro was the use of the new Final Bid Match (FBM) rule which allows teams to buy back their released players by matching the final auction bid price. This time, an amendment was made for teams to opt to retain a released player for either one or two seasons.

Most notably, this FBM rule was used by Dabang Delhi K.C. to bring their star raider Ashu Malik back to the team for INR 1.90 Crores for the next two seasons. 

Here’s a list of players who returned to their old franchises using the FBM option and how long they’ve been brought back for.

TWO-SEASON RETENTIONS:

Deepak Singh – Patna Pirates – 86 Lakh (FBM: 2 Seasons)

Ashu Malik – Dabang Delhi – 1.90 Cr (FBM: 2 Seasons)

Ghanshyam Roka Magar- Haryana Steelers – 13 L (FBM: 2 seasons)

ONE-SEASON RETENTION:

Vijay Malik – Telugu Titans – 51.5 L (FBM: 1 Season)

Ankit Jaglan – Patna Pirates – 1.573 Cr (FBM: 1 Season)

Nitesh Kumar – Bengal Warriorz – 20.25 L (FBM: 1 Season)

Mahender Singh – UP Yoddhas – 20 L (FBM: 1 Season)

Rinku Sharma – U Mumba – 21 L (FBM: 1 Season)

Mohammadreza Kaboudrahangi – UP Yoddhas – 20 L (FBM: 1 season)
