PKL Auction 2025: Mohammadreza Shadloui sold to Gujarat Giants for 2.23 crore

Iranian all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh was bought for Rs. 2.23 crore by Gujarat Giants on Saturday during the Pro Kabaddi League Auction 2025.

Last season, Shadloui playing for Haryana Steelers was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for his all-round performance, including 57 raid points and 82 tackle points, significantly contributed to the Steelers’ championship win. He was also named the best defender of Season 11.

Chiyaneh became the most expensive international player in season 10 auction when Puneri Paltan secured his services for a whopping Rs. 2.35 crore. The Iranian ended the campaign as the player with the most number of tackle points (99). Paltan went on to win its maiden PKL title.
