Lakshya Sen exits Singapore Open 2025 after retiring hurt; Aakarshi Kashyap knocked out

Lakshya Sen retired hurt during his Round of 32 match against Lin Chun-yi at the Singapore Open 2025 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Indian and his Chinese Taipei opponent were locked in a deciding game when Sen withdrew. The score stood at 21-15, 17-21, 5-13 at the time.

Meanwhile, Aakarshi Kashyap was unable to convert her early lead into a win, falling to China’s Han Yue 21-17, 13-21, 7-21.
