Table Tennis World Championships 2025: Ghorpade-Chitale pair progress to round of 16 in women’s doubles
India’s Yashaswini Ghorpade and Diya Chitale entered the round of 16 of the women’s doubles event at the Table Tennis World Championships 2025 in Doha on Monday.
The Indian pair beat Singapore’s Zeng Jian and Zhang Wanlin 3-1 (6-11, 11-6, 11-6, 11-9) in the round of 32.
Chitale though, stumbled in the round of 32 in mixed doubles, where she, along with Manush Shah, lost to South Korea’s Oh Junsung and Kim Nayeong.
In men’s singles Manush suffered a loss in the round of 64 to France’s Felix Lebrun
Manush also faced a defeat in the same stage of men’s doubles, where he and Manav Thakkar lost to Dang Qiu and Benedikt Duda of Germany.
