Shooting World Cup: Olympian Chain Singh wins bronze in 50-metre rifle 3-position event in Argentina


Olympian Chain Singh won the bronze behind Istvan Peni of Hungary and Tian Jiaming of China in the 50-metre rifle 3-position event in the shooting World Cup in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Friday.

Quite commendable was the fact that all the three Indian shooters made the final, with multiple World Cup champion Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar placing fourth, and Niraj Kumar, seventh.

Both Chain and Aishwary qualified with the second best score of 589, while the qualification topper Zhao Wenyu (594) of China ended up eighth in the final.
