Shooting World Cup: Saurabh Chaudhary finishes 18th in 10m Air Pistol Qualification in Argentina


Saurabh Chaudhary had a disappointing return to the Indian national team since the 2023 Asian Championships after he finished 18th in the 10m Air Pistol qualification at the ISSF World Cup in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Thursday.

The 22-year-old accumulated 577 points and shot 14 inner 10s.

On the other hand, Indian duo Ravinder Singh (580 points) and Varun Tomar (580 points) advanced to the final which will be played later today.

The other Indians in the fray were Amit Sharma and Aakash Bhardwaj, both of whom were playing for ranking points. They scored 579 and 577 respectively.

Other events going on are the Skeet Men and Women Qualification rounds. Indian shooters Bhavtegh Singh Gill, Gurjoat Khangura, Anant Jeet Singh Naruka and Ganemat Sekhon, Raiza Dhillon, Darshna Rathore are in action.
