Bangkok Grand Prix? Thailand Explores Hosting Formula 1 Race
F1 boss Stefano Domenicali met Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra on Tuesday to discuss the possibility of bringing a Grand Prix to the country.
– Thailand to conduct a feasibility study to evaluate costs, race location, and economic benefits.
– A potential Bangkok street circuit was previously suggested in the capital’s historic centre.
– France, Germany, and Turkey are also competing for a spot on the F1 calendar.
– The Asia-Pacific region currently hosts races in Australia, China, Japan, and Singapore.
