Wimbledon 2024: Raducanu, Osaka awarded main draw wild cards
Four-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka and former US Open champion Emma Raducanu on Wednesday were awarded women’s main draw wild cards for Wimbledon 2024.
Wimbledon will be held in England from July 1 to July 14.
Wild cards are players whose world ranking is not high enough to qualify automatically but who are accepted into the main Championships draw at the discretion of the committee.
Wild cards are usually offered on the basis of past performance at Wimbledon or to increase British interest.
